Install and operate

Set up the app, security and automatic protection.

Use the official build, configure identity and recovery, then verify the background features instead of assuming they ran.

Install Android

Download CasePilotPro-latest.apk only from the official download page.
Open it from Downloads and allow installation for this trusted source only when Android asks.
Finish installation, open the app and keep Android security/Play Protect enabled.
Android background work may be deferred when battery or storage is critically low.

Install Windows

Download CasePilotPro-latest.exe only from the official page.
Run the signed installer and complete the wizard.
Keep Windows Security enabled and do not bypass signature warnings.
Desktop uses platform-appropriate navigation and keyboard section shortcuts.

First setup

Select English or বাংলা and choose light, dark or system theme.
Add chamber identity, role, court groups and court names.
Set launch PIN/biometric protection and protect Admin switching.
Create test cases, tasks and reminders before importing live work.

Backup and recovery

Export an encrypted local JSON backup first.
View/copy the recovery key and store it separately from the file.
Connect Google Drive only when automatic or chamber backup/sync is needed.
Check “last successful backup”, pending state and restore readability; do not rely only on the scheduled time.

Google access

Google sign-in is optional for Diary, To Do and calculators.
Sign in to use authorised Decisions and Laws access.
Grant Drive permission only for connected backup/chamber functions.
CasePilot Pro does not currently provide Google Calendar hearing export.

Chamber team

Use only Admin, Advocate, Apprentice Advocate, Chamber Clerk or Legal Assistant.
Share invitations through a trusted channel and verify the joined member.
Resolve conflicts deliberately; do not assume sync silently chose the right version.
Revoke a lost/departed device and rotate the chamber key when needed.

Automatic features

Keep notifications enabled for task and case reminders.
Allow Android WorkManager to complete daily/pending backup work under normal system policy.
Background jobs reuse saved Google authorisation and never show a login popup.
Open Sync Health after long offline periods, reboot, account changes or storage warnings.

Professional verification

Verify case numbers, dates, parties, citations and calculations against primary records.
Review PDFs, images, cause lists, receipts and grouped cases before sharing.
Do not treat the app as a replacement for court records, limitation advice or professional judgment.
Keep an independent tested backup appropriate for the chamber’s risk level.
