Source-matched FAQ
Clear answers about features, automation and limits.
These answers are aligned with the supplied CasePilot Pro 2.4.1 source.
Where do I download CasePilot Pro?
Only from the official mgad.top download page. Android uses CasePilotPro-latest.apk and Windows uses CasePilotPro-latest.exe.
Which features work without Google sign-in?
Case Diary, To Do, calculators, local encrypted backup/export and normal local settings work without Google. Google identity is used for authorised Decisions and Laws; Drive permission is used only after connecting backup or chamber collaboration.
Does CasePilot Pro use Google Calendar?
No current app workflow provides Google Calendar hearing export. Older website wording about Calendar was removed because it did not match the supplied Flutter source.
What automatic features run in the background?
Depending on platform and settings: dirty-change backup snapshots, daily encrypted backup, durable offline upload queue, Android WorkManager retry after process closure/reboot, reminder rescheduling, chamber live reconnect/fallback, legal delta sync, app relock and signed update checks.
Will background backup open a Google sign-in window?
No. Background work reuses a saved authorised session and never opens sign-in automatically. If Google revokes access, reconnect manually from settings.
When is automatic backup created?
The daily safety schedule starts around 1:00 AM device time. Changes may also create a coalesced snapshot after a short delay. Android can defer work during severe battery/storage constraints, so check the last successful backup and pending status.
Is Google Drive backup encrypted?
Yes. Validated backup data is encrypted on-device with AES-256-GCM before local export or Drive upload. Keep the recovery key separately.
Is a personal backup strictly user-only E2EE?
No such claim is made. The current format can include both a user recovery wrap and an X25519 support-recovery envelope. Content is client-side encrypted, while the recovery design allows a verified lost-key workflow.
Is chamber content end-to-end encrypted?
Shared chamber content and live signals are encrypted with the chamber key between invited devices. Service providers can still process account, permission, folder, timing, size, IP/network and delivery metadata.
What happens when two devices edit the same case?
Same-field and delete-versus-edit collisions preserve both sides as a conflict. An authorised user chooses local or remote; the app is designed not to silently discard one side.
Which team roles exist?
Admin, Advocate, Apprentice Advocate, Chamber Clerk and Legal Assistant. Only a licensed Advocate can be assigned as the case Advocate; supported junior/staff roles may be Assistant.
Which calculators are included?
Age, Limitation, Maintenance Arrears, Civil Court Fee with 54 routes, Inheritance/Warish and Interest.
How much does it cost?
The published policy is free through 31 December 2026. From 1 January 2027 the published amount is BDT 250 plus applicable VAT per month. The supplied source does not define a one-month trial or old/new-user eligibility split.
Can a date alone lock my local case data?
The current app policy keeps access allowed unless a future system can verify a server-signed billing entitlement and provide a recovery path. Do not rely on unsupported website/payment claims.
Does the app replace court records or legal judgment?
No. Verify dates, citations, calculations, parties, payments and outputs against primary records and professional judgment.
